Robert Trevino, a 38-year-old victim of police brutality, hails from Lubbock, Texas, where he was raised in a low-income household by his grandmother. Despite the absence of a father figure in his life, he takes accountability for his actions. Battling drug abuse, he is currently undergoing treatment in the Lubbock County jail's step-up program to address his criminal and addictive behaviors. On December 27th, Robert fell victim to police brutality at the hands of the Texas Anti-Gang Unit in Lubbock, Texas. Following his removal from a vehicle, he was forcefully subdued, handcuffed, and subjected to physical violence by multiple members of the task force. Subsequently, he was hospitalized at UMC and is now detained in Lubbock County on an unaffordable bond, a potential violation of the Eighth and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution. We are appealing to the public for support and will soon provide information on where prayers can be sent.
